SASS Recognition Week

This week Public Schools all over NSW are recognising the valued work of our most underpaid but overworked employees of the NSW DEC (Department of Education and Communities – the new name for the Department of Education and Training). At APCS we recognise the range of skills and expertise that our SASS have and know that our school, like other schools, would not function without these wonderful people.

SASS (School and Support Staff) Recognition Week coincides this year with Education Week.  SASS staff every school play an important role in the running of the school and supporting the delivery of curriculum.  Staff at Ariah Park Central School are:

Merilyn McBeath (School Administration Manager), Vicki Leiper and Lorene Mesanovic (School Administration Officers) Sally Collis (Library Assistant) Louise Clemson (Food Technology and Science Assistant), Jenny Haddrill and Glenn Werner (School Learning Support Officers) Terry Ryall (Farm Assistant) and Brian Johnstone (General Assistant).

It is the combined effort in all areas by these staff that make for the effective running of the school. Ariah Park Central boasts a great variety of curriculum and the support provided by the SASS staff is valued by staff and students.
